Charles recently completed his Bachelor in Information Science at Utrecht University and now works as a Junior Consultant at the Next. Within IT, his interests lie mainly in data analytics, which especially in this day and age plays an important part in the decision-making of many issues.
Introduction
Welcome to the course ‘the intelligent organisation’. This course focuses on explaining the principles of a data-driven organization, based on business intelligence. It will introduce you to the overall changes in the business model landscape, caused by the availability of data. Topics as dashboarding, analytics and data science are explained, including success factors. Next to the theoretical part, there is also a practical part to apply theory to practice, to help you or your organization transform to a ‘data-driven’ organization based on business intelligence.
Objectives
The Intelligent Organization module addresses the theory of Business Intellegence, but especially how to make the organization savvy in thinking in terms of concrete objectives and fact based management using in and external data.
